In response to the current coronavirus crisis, the Tollesbury Neighbourhood Help Network is now up and running, as we all follow the Government’s guidance to stay indoors in our own household only, and practice safe distancing when we are out shopping or exercising. Every household in the village should have had the Network’s leaflet, which doubles as a window display indicating if you need help or not. Please put it up so that we can see who needs support. We have around 50-60 volunteers who are ready to help those who need it.
Thanks to Roy Clare for making the scheme happen, and to Fellowship Afloat for designing and printing the leaflet and helping to distribute it.
A big thank you too to the village shops and Pharmacy, who are enabling us to stay within the village to source much of what we need – we very much appreciate your service to the village and this great community.
We are fortunate to be self isolating in such a lovely village, hard though it is and will continue to be. Please stay safe and follow the guidance – use the helplines if you need them – and hopefully the next blog will be about more positive developments.
