• Tuesday 22^nd December 2025 – pool refilled for swimming over Christmas/New Year
• Monday 5^th January 2026 – empty the pool

Description:

Woodup Pool is a salt water amenity pool with an area of sand at one end. There is also a grassed area with picnic tables and two BBQs. A portable toilet is provided during the season (which is typically from June to September). Public toilets are also available at Woodrolfe Green Car Park.

Woodup Pool Information

Woodup Pool is used at your own risk and children should be supervised at all times as there are no lifeguards in attendance.

The road is liable to tidal flooding, please take note of signage, parking restrictions and tide times.

Season:

The Woodup Pool Season is due to start 22nd May 2026.

Rules and Regulations:

• Please leave the pool, as you would wish to find it
• Please familiarise yourself with the information signage
• Please use the bins provided or take your rubbish home with you
• Please do not leave rubbish around the bins as it will not be collected by the contractor
• Children to be supervised at all times
• Strictly no dogs allowed either in the water, on the beach, or on any of the grassed areas around the pool
• No riding of bicycles and motorcycles
• Please note, there are parking restrictions during weekdays, weekends and Bank Holidays. Please use the car park at Woodrolfe Green. Please do not park in the car parks of local organisations/businesses or on the yellow lines; enforcement officers regularly patrol the area.
• The water is changed on Spring tides, which is approximately every two weeks. Further information about the flushing of the pool can be found on the information boards on site and by clicking the link: Woodup Amenity Pool Closure Information
• For the well-being of others, please do not enter the water if suffering from any infectious or contagious disease
• When using inflatables, paddle boards etc. please be aware of swimmers.
